Santa Cristina (Sankt Christina) is a picturesque mountain village in the middle of the Val Gardena ski area. It is located on the sunny side of Gröden and offers beautiful views over the awe-inspiring scenery Langkofel. Santa Cristina is a traditional village with modern influences. The main point is the church square, and the centre has several cosy cafes and restaurants in South Tyrolean atmosphere to offer. It's even possible to find some cosy après ski facilities.
In the centre there are several lifts that can take you right into the heart of Val Gardena area. It is also possible, quite easily, to take the (free) ski bus to Ortisei/St. Ulrich or Selva di Val Gardena/Wolkenstein.
Santa Cristina has a ski school, also located in the centre, and several shops to rent a.o. ski equipment.
