Wintersport Les Masses / Thyon - Les Collons

Quiet winter sport villages; perfect for families and beginners

At approximately 10 km distance from the well-known winter sport village Veysonnaz the villages Thyon, Les Collons and Les masses are situated. Thyon is a small, car-free village that mainly exists out of apartment buildings and are directly situated at the slopes. About 4 km away the peaceful village Les Collons is situated. Here one can find some shops, restaurants and one ski school. Another 3.5 km away Les Masses is situated and here some more facilities can be found, like a supermarket and various restaurants.

The ski area of Les masses and Thyon is ideal for the beginning winter sport enthusiast and families with children. The advanced skier can spend days discovering new slopes in the near Veysonnaz and for snowboarders a fun park and a half pipe are available near Thyon, which are also lit by night. Cross-country skiers and hikers will not find much possibilities in this area, there are however two cross-country trails in Veysonnaz.
