Modest winter sport village at a central location
Siviez is a small ski villaga at a central location in the large ski area of Les Quatre Vallées. From the village you can access several sides of the area: one chair lift departs to Combatseline (2238 metres), from where you can access the drag lifts to the Greppon Blanc (2700 metres) - here you will mainly find red and a number of black slopes and you can ski towards Thyon 2000 and Veysonnaz. Furtermore there is a chair lift and a drag lift departing from Siviez to Plan-du-Fou (2430 metres), from where you can access ski runs that lead to Nendaz (via a ski route and a black slope). Moreover, there is a chair lift departing from Siviez to Tortin (2050 metres) and here you can take the cable-car to Chassoure (2470 metres) or to Col des Gentianes (2950 metres) and ski down in the direction of Verbier. From Col des Gentianes there is a cable-car towards Mont Fort (3330 metres, the highest point of the ski area and a beautiful view over the mountains of Les Quatre Vallées.
Via the red and a blue slope you can return to Siviez. If you return over the Mont-Fort, Col des Gentianes, Mont-Ge;é or Chassoure you will first pass over a number of ski routes. In Siviez you will also find a sledding run and a hiking route.
There are a number of facilities available in Siviez like e.g. a ski school, ski rental, a small supermarket and a number of restaurants. Siviez is about 7 km away from Nendaz where you will find more amenities.
