General description

AlpenParks Bad Hofgastein is ideally situated in a central location on the edge of the pedestrian zone. The apartments are situated approximately 3 kilometres from the Schlossalmbahn I in Bad Hofgastein. This gondola lift will take you straight into the heart of the Ski Amadé – Gasteinertal ski area. From here, you can explore the Schlossalm (2,050 m) and Stubnerkogel (2,251 m), which are linked via the Angertal valley. Together, they offer 87 kilometres of slopes, mainly blue and red runs, allowing you to enjoy a wide variety of skiing days to the full. Looking for even more variety? Then do pay a visit to Sportgastein, the highest village in the Gastein Valley at an altitude of 1,590 metres. Here you’ll find a separate ski area with 26 kilometres of slopes on the Kreuzkogel (2,686 m), the highest point in the entire Ski Amadé region. For advanced skiers, the 8-kilometre-long Nord run is an absolute must. The ski bus stop is about 50 metres from the chalet.

The charming centre of Bad Hofgastein is within walking distance of the accommodation. Here you’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. The nearest restaurant is just about 100 metres away, and for your daily shopping you can visit the supermarket about 600 metres away.

AlpenParks Bad Hofgastein comprises 31 cosily furnished flats, where you can relax after an active day in the snow. One parking space in the car park (with a clearance height of 2.25 m) is included per flat. Additional parking spaces are available on request and for a fee. The accommodation also offers Wi-Fi, and a washing machine and tumble dryer are available (for a fee).

With the digital guest card (Gastein Card), you have free access to the Alpentherme, approximately a 10-minute walk from the apartments. It’s the ideal place to relax and unwind completely during your winter sports holiday. Enjoy the hot tubs, the thermal spring pool and the sauna. There’s plenty of water fun for children too, including a slide and a ‘lazy river’. In addition, the digital guest card gives you free use of public transport, so you can easily explore the surrounding area and even travel from Salzburg Airport to Bad Hofgastein free of charge.
