The modern apartments Residenz Drachenstein Wildschönau are located in Niederau, about 500 meters from the slopes and Markbachjoch ski elevator. In this Markbachjoch ski area you will find slopes of all levels. Should you also want to ski the linked Wildschönau - Alpbachtal ski area, you can easily take the ski bus to the Schatzbergbahn in Auffach. Or drive about 15 minutes to the Salvenbahn in Hopfgarten and discover the WilderKaiser-Brixental ski area.
In the friendly winter sports village of Niederau you will find several stores, two supermarkets, a ski school, ski rental and also restaurants and (après-ski) bars can be found here.
On the outside the resort has the traditional Austrian look, using a lot of wood, there are many windows and the inside is tastefully decorated. Residenz Drachenstein Wildschönau consists of 23 apartments and on top of that 4 luxury penthouses. All types include Wi-Fi, underfloor heating and a beautiful view. You will also find in the resort a reception, elevator, washer and dryer, a heated ski storage room and after an active day on the slopes you can relax in the beautiful wellness area (swimwear required) with sauna, Turkish bath, a whirlpool, showers and a relaxation room. Bread roll service is possible. (No delivery on Sundays). There are parking lots in front of the resort. There are also covered parking spaces (according to availability and for a fee, (€ 70, - per week, payable locally ) in the parking garage. This can only be arranged on site with the janitor.
Living room with a sitting area with a 2-person sofa bed, television, Bluetooth Soundbar and a dining area. Fully equipped kitchen including a 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle and Dolce Gusto machine. There is also a balcony or terrace and free Wi-Fi.
Bedroom with a double bed, bunk bed and television. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Separate toilet.
Although the apartment has 6 beds, it is allowed to stay in this apartment with a maximum of 4 persons.
