AlpenParks Rehrenberg is located at the bottom of the last run of the ski area in Viehhofen between the villages of Saalbach (approx. 8 km) and Zell am See and consists of a chalet park and apartments. The ZellamseeXpress ski elevator is a short distance from AlpenParks Rehrenberg and it will take you to the Schmittenhöhe ski area of Zell am See, where some 77 km of slopes await you. If you prefer to explore a larger ski area, you can take the ski bus to the Schönleiten ski elevator; this elevator gives access to the Skicircus Saalbach/ Hinterglemm/ Leogang/ Fieberbrunn with over 270 km of slopes. The ski bus stop for the ski bus towards the Schönleitenbahn in Vorderglemm stops a few minutes' walk away. From the ski area of Saalbach it is possible to ski back directly to your apartment with the final blue run 168!
The center of Viehhofen is about a 15-minute walk away. In Viehhofen you have several options for a bite to eat. The nearest restaurant is 300 meters from the apartment. Are you looking for a wider choice of supermarkets, bars and restaurants? Then head to lively Saalbach.
The reception of AlpenParks Rehrenberg is right next to the ZellamseeXpress. Here you will immediately find the rental and ski school. For the apartments you have to drive about 400 meters further. A shuttle service with several pick-up points is available for guests of the park between 8-10am and 4-6pm to transport you to and from the ZellamseeXpress (times subject to change).
The park has a luxurious wellness area including a heated outdoor pool, sauna, whirlpool and relaxation room where you can relax after an active day on the slopes. The children can have fun in the pool or in the playroom. Guests who have booked a superior or luxury apartment can additionally use the new Adults Only Wellness. Bread roll service and breakfast buffet are available on site (charges apply). AlpenParks Rehrenberg has a mini-shop with a small assortment of groceries. There is also Wifi, a launderette (for a fee) and a ski storage room with ski boot dryers. One parking space under the carport is available per apartment.
Living/dining room with double sofa bed, Smart TV, wood-burning stove and separate dining area. Open kitchen equipped with 4-burner stove, oven, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. Access to the balcony or terrace with a seating area.

Accomodation fine, everything was clean and sufficient (a towel change during the week is nice) Tip: bring your own towel or bathrobe if you want to use the pool/sauna! Sauna is only allowed from 17 years and without swimwear! Location relative to the slopes also good, ski bus to the other areas stops almost at the door. And you sit next to the Zell am See express and you're so above. Only in terms of restaurants and entertainment, the location is less. There is a restaurant in the main building, but not really inviting to sit down. We went there for some takeout. Was OK. Next to the elevator there is also a restaurant, but we didn't go there. Little to do ... If you need groceries you have to take the car, the little store on park does not amount to much and has no fresh products. The last ski bus from Saalbach / Hinterglemm also leaves at 19:17h that was unfortunate, because then you're still nice in the apres ski ...

Fine apartments with plenty of space. A sofa bed is not ideal, but since there were only two of us we did not use it. Good equipped kitchen with oven! the Depot/Skiraum was severely below standard and therefore not used. The heated pool was still very cold. Too cold for my taste. The sauna had 2 different saunas (60 and 80 degrees) which on the amount of people is still quite little. We were regularly completely full. There were no towels here either, you had to bring your own.
