Snow-certain ski area with lively après-ski bars

The ski region of Sölden is situated in the Ötztal. This is the largest valley of the Inn with 90 mountains of over 3000 metres high and 86 glaciers. Due to the many glaciers the region is very snow-certain. There is lively après-ski available in Sölden, starting in the early afternoon and continuing till the early hours in the vibrant centre of the village.

There are two ski lifts departing from the village of Sölden, the modern cable-car which will lead you to the Gaislachkogl, at an altitude of 3058 metres, and the Giggijochbahn, leading to the beginning of the ski area. The ski area of Hochsölden is very suitable for families with children. The Ötztal offers endless excitement for skiers of all abilities and especially around the Giggijoch where you can find wide pistes, varying from steep to gentle descents. Your ski pass gives you access to the entire area.

The Tiefenbach Glacier is ideal for beginners and is also a favourite area for snowboarders. Here you can find a fun park and a challenging black mogul slope at the Hainbachjoch.

The small areas Huben and Längenfels offer a neat cross-country centre and in Sölden you can find a trail on the outskirts of the village.

The hiking paths can be found around the village and along the river. The highest point that can be reached by foot is Hochsölden (2027 metres).
