Spacious chalet (in fall 2023 completely renovated), located in a beautiful chalet park with (well maintained) luxury chalets and maisonettes. The chalet is built entirely in Austrian style and offers all the comforts of a beautiful and modern vacation home. The layout of the house makes it ideal for use with several families or groups of friends.
There is also a beautiful swimming pool (Kristallbad), which customers from Schöneben can use daily for free. The pool also has a wellness oasis and fitness, which can be used for an additional fee. In addition, it offers various other facilities such as a restaurant and hairdresser.
Wald is a unique destination due to its location. The authentic village is located on one of the longest cross-country ski trails in Austria (approx. 200 km) and in the middle of 3 ski areas:
- Zillertal Arena (start from Krimml or Königsleiten) (approx. 15 min. drive from Wald)
- Wildkogel Arena / Neukirchen am Grossvenediger (approx. 5 min. drive from Wald)
- KitzSki Kitzbühel / Kirchberg, via gondola elevator from Hollersbach (Hollersbach is about 10 min. by car from Wald)
The ski areas are also accessible with a free ski bus service. The stop is located approx. 150 meters from the chalet.
Please note that smoking and pets are not allowed.
Sandwiches can be ordered on site and delivered in the morning.
Three covered parking spaces are available with this property (there is also outdoor parking). In the garage there is a shared ski storage room.
On the first floor entrance with toilet. Cozy, beautiful living room with cozy sitting area with comfortable corner sofa, armchair, television (satellite), wood stove and large dining table. Open kitchen with, among other things, a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker and kettle.
From the living room you have access to the spacious covered balcony, which opens onto the terrace next to the chalet. There is also a washing machine, dryer, a WiFi connection and spacious sauna room in the basement (sauna is suitable for 4 persons).
Upstairs two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Two bathrooms with toilet, one with bathtub and one with shower.
In the basement three bedrooms, two with two single beds each and a third bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds. Two bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower. Two toilets, one of which is separate.
Bauernhaus West can be seen as a semi-detached house with Bauernhaus East. Both houses are mirrored (except for the sauna in Bauernhaus West) and can be rented separately or as a whole. The apartments have a connection on the living floor (living room) and can be separated when renting one section through a sliding wall of high soundproofing class, thus creating two apartments.

De plek waar het huis stond, was een beetje afgelegen. Op internet staat beschreven dat het niet zo lang is met de ski bus. Wij moesten elke dag (niet gelogen) 50 minuten in de skibus om bij koningsleiten te kimen.

Spacious vacation home located on the main road in the valley. Nice view and located close to the ski slopes. Ski bus stops almost at the door.

Lovely house, very nice holiday. Half an hour in the ski bus was fine, always place because we were the first to board.

Perfect house for a large group. House is very clean and is equipped with all necessities. Ample parking space and space for storing ski equipment. The noise of the house can be noticed as the only downside.

We were completely satisfied with the accommodation. Too bad was only the really long distance to the ski area Königsleiten. The return trip with the ski bus is sometimes approached 50 minutes. That was too long for us.
