The chalets Hameau de Flaine are located in the highest part of Flaine, in the beautiful chalet district of the same name 'Le Hameau de Flaine'. The chalets are built in the Scandinavian style and are comfortably furnished. Central in the district you will find the 'General Store' which includes a supermarket, ski rental and a restaurant.
To go skiing or snowboarding you can choose to take a (fairly flat) ski path that leads directly to the blue "Opale" slopes, or you can take the free ski bus to the slopes (about 3 minutes) that runs every 10 to 15 minutes throughout the day. The ski bus stop can be found at the bottom of the park and at the path to the slopes at the top of the park.
The district of 'Flaine Foret' with more stores, restaurants and other facilities, is about 1 km away. The ski school is about 1.5 km away.
For guests staying at the Chalets Hameau de Flaine, a free cab van is available from evening to midnight to take you to and from the center of Flaine. So it is very easy to dine in the cozy center of Flaine, because you are picked up at the door and also neatly "brought home" again!
Comfortably furnished living room with a sitting area, flat-screen TV with DVD player, Scandinavian wood-burning stove and a dining area. Second living room with a sitting area with television and pool table. Spacious kitchen with a ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Furthermore, the chalet has a private sauna (in one of the bathrooms), washer and dryer, two large terraces facing south with views of the surrounding mountain world and a private garage with room for 1 car.
Six bedrooms, three with a double bed each, one with two single beds and two with bunk beds each. Four bathrooms, of which one with shower and sauna, one with shower, washing machine and dryer, one with bath and shower and one with bath and toilet. Three separate toilets.

Reception was not very warm. Young lad who showed little helpfulness. 2 keys with 10 people and three families is a bit little. The chalet was moderately cleaned. Sauna took a lot of time to figure out exactly how to turn it on. Pool table we enjoyed a lot. No internet standard in the chalet is out of date.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. It was all much more spacious than we had estimated through the photos on the website.
