Large recently built chalet at 100 metres from the slopes in Châtel

General description

Chalet Vonnes was newly built in 2014 on Lac de Vonnes in the winter sports village of Châtel. The chalet has a quiet but convenient location just 100 meters from the two brand new chairlifts Portes du Soleil and Gabelou. The Portes du Soleil chairlift takes you to the Super-Châtel area, which connects to the Swiss part of Les Portes du Soleil. With the Gabelou chairlift you reach the slopes of the Linga/Pré-la-Joux area, where you can then take the Linga chairlift towards Avoriaz. At the new chairlifts ends the new, blue ski slope from the Super-Châtel area.

Chalet Vonnes consists of two almost identical chalet halves, each suitable for up to 14 people. These homes can be rented separately or together, in the latter case you have access to the entire chalet which can accommodate groups of up to 28 people. One of the homes has a small private sauna. Both homes have Wi-Fi internet connection, heated ski storage and balconies overlooking the lake! If you rent the entire chalet, you can turn the two living rooms into one large living area, so you can have dinner together with the whole group! Cars can be parked directly at the chalet.

For facilities such as a supermarket, ski school, childcare, (sports) stores, restaurants, bars and a wellness center with swimming pool you can visit the center of Châtel, which is about 1.5 km away. The ski bus to the center leaves at about 100 meters walking distance, at the chairlifts.

Layout

This type involves a combination of the two chalet halves. Here you have access to the entire chalet, including the private sauna located in one of the chalet halves. Between the living rooms of both houses there is a sliding door. This makes it possible to create one large living room (70 m²) so that you can eat together.

The description below applies 2x:

Spacious living room with a sitting area with television and DVD player, dining table and an open kitchen fully equipped with, among other things, a stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Furthermore, this chalet half has a Wi-Fi internet connection, heated ski storage, balconies and a terrace.

Five bedrooms, four with a double bed each and one 6-person room with two bunk beds and mezzanine with two single mattresses (under sloping roof). Three bathrooms, one with bath and shower, one with shower and toilet and one with shower. Two separate toilets.

Due to the size of the dining tables, it is recommended that a maximum of 24 adults stay in this chalet.
