Saint Sorlin d'Arves

The authentic village St. Sorlin d'Arves is situated on a sunny location at the foot of the Col de la Croix de Fer. The village has its own ski area, covering over 40 km of slopes with good snow conditions, that are mainly suitable for beginners to intermediate skiers. The St. Sorlin glacier offers interesting possibilities for the tour skiers and from St. Sorlin d'Arves there is a good connection to the other areas of Les Sybelles.

St. Sorlin d'Arves has kept its old character, also next to the new constructions at the bottom of the slope it has remained a cosy and atmospheric village. The pistes and lifts are mainly situated on a walking distance from the accommodations, but there are also ski busses driving to the different stations. In the village you will find good apres-ski, diverse restaurants, several supermarkets, shops, day care and a ski school. In the surrounding areas there are also beautiful hike paths available, a tobogganing run and the possibility to tour with a dog sled or snow scooter.
