The sunny ski region of Les Sybelles is mainly formed by the former ‘Le Super Grand Large’ ski area. Due to extensions within the area the ski region cover now over 310 km of slopes. Les Sybelles is spread over four mountain ridges of the Arvan-Villards, and is exposed by sunlight during the full day. The most important ski villages surrounding this area are La Toussuire and Le Corbier, but also Saint Jean d’Arves, Les Bottières, Saint Sorlin d’Arves and Saint Colomban des Villards form a great base to discover this ski region.

The ski region of Les Sybelles mainly exists out of red slopes. There are also several gentle runs for beginners as well and for the more experienced skiers the black and off-piste slopes will offer a great challenge. The spectacular, 17 km long, off-piste slope from La Toussuire to Saint Jean de Maurrien is one of the most exciting off-pistes run for the advanced skiers, but is only accessible if the snow conditions are good enough and tour skiers can find beautiful possibilities on the Saint Sorlin-glacier. The ski areas of Le Corbier and La Toussuire are interconnected through two ski lifts, it is however not possible to ski from one village to the other.
For cross-country skiers and hikers there are also several possibilities in the ski region of Les Sybelles. Just outside Le Corbier there are three cross-country trails and La Toussuire offers a network of several trails, covering about 32 km. Hikers can access the several villages through the hiking path, following parts of the cross-country trails.
