Chalet Les Gentianes is situated in the higher part of the village of Les Coches. The chalet has a top location between two slopes! In the morning you can easily get on your equipment and take the slope down to the Plan Bois chair lift. At the end of the day you can ski all the way back to Chalet Les Gentianes.
The chalet is centrally located in the Paradiski ski area which includes the majestic areas of Les Arcs and La Plagne. These ski areas are connected by the Vanoise Espress double decker cable car which has the capacity to bring 2000 persons per hour to their destination! The Paradiski area has many possibilities for beginners as well as very advanced skiers. This cable car is about 1 km away from Chalet Les Gentianes but a ski bus can take you there. The ski bus departs at a 300 metres distance from the chalet.
The comfortable Chalet Les Gentianes has a cosy and rustique feel because of the many woodwork that was used to decorate it. After a long and active day on the slopes you can fully relax in the private sauna that the chalet has to offer. Furthermore the chalet has a free Wi-Fi internet connection and a ski storage to store your equipment. The chalet is situated at a peaceful location and offers a view over the Mont Blanc and the Isère valley. Chalet Les Gentianes can be reached by car until 300 metres. After that you can go on by foot. Luggage transport can be arranged for a fee on the day of arrival and on the Friday evening before departure (on request).
The small and cosy centre of Les Coches is situated at 2 km from the chalet. In this centre you can find several restaurants, bars, shops and more.
The chalets Les Gentianes and Les Violettes are situated next to each other.
The chalet is divided over three floors.
The cosy living room has a sitting corner with single sofabed, fire place, TV, DVD-player and a dining table. The well-equipped kitchen e.g. has hotplates, a fridge with freezer compartment, electric kettle, coffee machine, oven, microwave and a dishwasher. The chalet also offers a private sauna with a shower, washing machine, ski storage and a free Wi-Fi internet connection.
Three bedrooms, of which one with a double bed, one 3-person bedroom with three single beds and a 4-person bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. Four bathrooms that each have a shower (two of them are en-suite to a bedroom). Two separate toilets.

Prijs/kwaliteit echt een topper. De Chalet is ruim en beschikt over voldoende basis comfort. Maar door de moeilijke bereikbaarheid enkel geschikt voor jonge en/of sportieve mensen. En dit zou duidelijk vermeld moeten zijn. Ook dat de bagage enkel met de sneeuwscooter kan naar boven gebracht worden (extra kost 50€) zou moeten vermeld worden. Nu wisten wij dit pas na de reservering en betaling.

Prachtig chalet met vriendelijke eigenaren. Ligging kan voor sommige mensen een probleem zijn, omdat je wel een stukje de piste op moet klauteren. Maar als je dat wilt trotseren heb je me toch een fantastisch huisje midden op de berg, daar word je gewoon stil van.
