General description

Chalet Le Geais is situated in a beautiful, quiet location at the bottom of the winter sports village La Tzoumaz. From the chalet you have a beautiful view over the Rhone valley. Approximately every 20 to 30 minutes the ski bus to the center and the cabin lift La Tzoumaz-Savoleyres leaves at a distance of 100 meters. The ski area of La Tzoumaz is connected to that of Verbier. From Verbier you can then continue to discover Les Quatre Vallées!

La Tzoumaz has a small center, but with all necessary facilities. The center is located about 1 km from the chalet and has a number of ski shops, restaurants / bars and a supermarket. You will also find an ice skating rink and at the gondola lift you will find a ski school, childcare and indoor swimming pool with sauna.

Chalet Le Geais is built and furnished with a lot of wood, which creates a warm atmosphere, and the wood-burning stove completes this picture. There are two parking spaces at the chalet.

Layout

This chalet consists of two floors.

On the ground floor you will find a living/dining room with dining table and wood-burning stove. Fully equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Furthermore, on this floor you will find one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with a bunk bed and one bathroom with shower and toilet.

From the dining room there is a staircase to the first floor. Here you will find a mezzanine with a sitting area with television (under a sloping roof) and one triple bedroom with a double bed and a single bed.

Furthermore, this chalet has a washer, dryer, ski storage and a balcony.

Please note: there is a separate studio in the basement, which is not for the use of guests. This studio is rarely used.

The 2-persons bed upstairs was broken, the shower was broken, the water kettle was broken and we were really missing wifi (although ofcourse it didn’t mention in the description that there was wifi).
