La Tzoumaz is a small Alpine village, situated at 1500 meters altitude and is the ideal destination for families with children and those who seek tranquility. This area is a humble village but offers all the essential facilities. One can find a supermarket, two sport shops, diverse other shops, several restaurants and bars, an indoor pool, an ice-rink and a ski school.
La Tzoumaz is connected to the ski-area of Verbier and the rest of Les Quatre Vallées via the new cable-car lift. From the top of Savoleyres a red and a blue slope lead one back to the village. Snowboarders can also enjoy themselves with the accessible half-pipe and fun-parks in the ski area.
There are also great possibilities for hikers in the area of La Tzoumaz. There is a hiking trail of 10 km to the top of the Savoleyres and for other activities the area offers the longest sledding slope of Switzerland and a draglift of 10 km.
