Kappl is a beautiful Tyrolean village with an historic centre and small alleys and is situated at a sunny location in the Paznauntal. The village is divided over several quiet areas and is located on a steep hill. The Dias-Kabinenbahn is found at the Silvretta Straße and leads you to an altitude of 1800 metres – from where you can connect to the Albitt chairlift that leads to an altitude of 2306 metres. Do you want to go one day to another ski area? With the Silvretta ski pass you will have access to the ski areas of Ischgl/Samnaun, Galtür and See.
In the direct surroundings of Kappl there are six hiking tracks available. There are also snow shoe tours organised in the area of Kappl – offering even more possibilities for hikers who like to try something different.
In the village of Kappl are traditional Heimat evenings – experiencing years of history in one night. If you like to enjoy some après-ski it is recommended to go to Ischgl (10 minute drive). Another suggestion is to go shopping in Landeck for an afternoon or to visit the tax-free Samnaun in Switzerland.
