Das Neukirchen is a village in itself and you will find all kinds of luxurious facilities that make a stay complete. The 45 apartments and 8 penthouse apartments are all stylishly decorated. Natural materials have been used which provides a modern and luxurious feel. All apartments have a balcony or terrace overlooking the Hohe Tauern National Park. The apartments are privately owned, so there may be slight differences between them.
The Wildkogelbahn which takes you into the Wildkogel Arena ski area is opposite the chalet apartments and can be reached via a pedestrian tunnel in about 100 meters. Here you will also find the ski school with a children's area both at the valley and mountain station of this cabin elevator. Also located here is a small supermarket. If you want to explore several ski areas in the region, the KitzSki Kitzbühel / Kirchberg and Zillertal Arena are definitely recommended. The KitzSki Kitzbühel / Kirchberg ski area can be reached via Hollersbach in about 10 minutes by car and the Zillertal Arena is about 20 minutes from Neukirchen. Both ski areas can also be reached by ski bus, the ski bus stops near Das Neukirchen. The chalet apartments are located at the edge of the small-scale center, where you will find some restaurants, a delicious bakery and some stores.
After an active day in the snow, you can relax in the 770 m² wellness area with indoor and outdoor pool, two saunas, infrared sauna, hammam and relaxation room. We had a wonderful week at Das Neukirchen. The apartment is super clean, spacious and very bright. The complex has a very nice indoor and outdoor pool, which we also enjoyed very much. The wellness we have not used, so I can not say anything about that. But given the cleanliness of the whole complex, I'm sure that was also absolutely top. The location is also fantastic. We were on the favorable side of the complex (I think). We went down the stairs and then through the back exit directly to the elevator (50meter). Also through that back exit you could also walk to the Spar, which if possible was even closer than the gondola. Everyone in the complex was super friendly and extremely helpful. So again; we had a wonderful week.
