The ski destination Vaujany is a charming and authentic farmer village, situated in the ski region of Alpe d’Huez. The cable car of Vaujany can carry 160 persons, up to a height of 2800 metres (Pic Blanc). When arriving at the top a red slope will lead to the cable car at the foot of the Pic Blanc. With this modern gondola connection the higher situated slopes are quickly accessible.
If you want to avoid the crowds of Alpe d’Huez then the village of Vaujany is good alternative. It is unfortunately not possible to ski back to the village. In the village of Vaujany there are several bars and restaurants and there is a ice rank, two discotheques and a cinema.
