Le Crystal is a beautiful résidence in the winter sports village of Vaujany, located in the ski area of Alpe d'Huez (Grand Domaine). The résidence consists of 52 apartments for two to a maximum of six people and features various facilities, including a gym.
From the residence it is about a 150-meter walk to a covered escalator, which ends at the bottom of the village at the departure point of the cabin elevators. The Vaujany-Alpette gondola takes you directly into the ski area. At the end of the day you can also take a cabin elevator back to Vaujany, as there is no piste ending in the village. The résidence has a central location in the village, a short distance from restaurants, bars and stores. In Vaujany you will also find, among other things, an ice skating rink, toboggan run, ski schools and child care.
Résidence Le Crystal has access to a heated swimming pool, gym, ski storage and free Wi-Fi at the reception. Wi-Fi is also available in the apartments (approx. €20.00 per week, payable only by credit card on site). There are free covered parking spaces available, not to be reserved in advance but ample availability.

The location of the apartment is fine, it was a short walk to the ski lift, but the escalators and the free shuttle bus made this very doable. The shops are within walking distance and the cottage was neat and all necessities were available. The staff spoke almost no English which made it difficult to communicate with them but they were very helpful.
