Tignes exist out of four villages; Les Brévières, situated below the dam close to a lake at 1550 metres, Les Boisses, situated on 1850 metres and Le Lac and Val Claret, both situated 2100 metres away.
Val d'Isère and Tignes have developed as one of the best ski areas in the world. The area south of Aiguille Percée, is situated entirely on the South side and connects to the blue and red pistes of the villages Les Boisses and Les Brévières. There is also a long black piste on the back side of the Percée to Les Brévières.
In Le Lac there is a funpark and a halfpipe of 70 metres for snowboarders. The cross-country skiers can enjoy their passion in Le Lac on the trails situated on a frozen lake.
Tignes Val Claret offers a great nightlife and good après-ski and in this area you will have the unique chance to go ice-diving! In this village you can also enjoy a lively market, twice a week.
