Les Portes du Grand Massif has been open since December 2010 and consists of a number of detached and semi-detached chalets and several chalet buildings containing very comfortable and modern chalet apartments. We had a very nice week. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious for us (4 adults + 1 child in 6-8p apartment). We also had a spacious balcony where we could sit in the sun. Pool, wellness and gym were super, just a shame that the jacuzzi was just broken for a few days during our stay. We were there in a fairly quiet week (mid-January) so we were almost the only ones in the pool. The only pity is that you cannot ski back to the accommodation (for this you can use the ski bus until early evening). In the morning, however, you can ski to the nearest piste and elevator via an easy path from the cottage, lovely!

It was a beautiful apartment, lots of light, nice balconies, great couch. Great for 4 people, with 6-8 you really can't sit comfortably. The mattresses were very hard, a fitted sheet is much nicer than a sheet, there were no hooks to hang your towel and a cutting board would also have been nice.
