Champagny and Vanoise is an authentic and charming village, situated at an altitude of 1250 metres. This village has its own ski area, covering about 30 km of gentle slopes. (Blue and red) These slopes are all situated on the South side, located in the sun most of the day. From Champagny there is a good connection to the highest pistes of La Plagne. Within ca. 8 minutes it is possible to reach the ski region of La Plagne, covering over 200 km of slopes, with the cable car. The ski region of La Plagne is connected to the ski area of Les Arcs, offering a total of 425 km of pistes.
At Champery Le Haut (5 km away) there is 30 km of cross-country trails made available, which are interconnected to another 100 km of trails within the area. It is also possible to enjoy hiking, tobogganing or ice climbing in the area.
In the village of Champery and Vanoise one can find facilities like a ski school, ski rental, indoor swimming pool, supermarkets and several shops, restaurants and bars.
