Vallandry

Vallandry is found in the ski area of Les Arcs (with 200 km of piste) and is said to be the most beautiful village of Les Arcs. Vallandry situated at an open space in the forest, is cosy and car-free with several shops (including a bakery, ski rental, local specialities, super market, bars, restaurants and a movie theatre. From the centre there's a chair lift that'll bring you to an altitude of 2100 metres.

The forested slopes above Vallandry offer you much flexibility. Both the beginning and the advanced skier can enjoy themselves here! The many red and blue slopes will bring you to some vivid terraces in the village, where you can have a great afternoon lunch or grab a drink after skiing. The crossing to La Plagne, via the Vanoise Express, is easily accessible from Peisey (directly next to Vallandry). There's a free ski bus that drives through both villages.

In the centre of Vallandry you find a ski school and a daycare for children up to 1 year old (it's recommended you book in advance).

For cross-country skiers there's also plenty to do. In the valley at Nancroix there is 43 km of trails and from Vallandry you can get there with the free ski bus or by car (ca. eight minutes).
