Spacious, detached chalet directly at the piste of Vallandry

General description

The family-friendly chalet park 'Les Chalets de Bellecôte' consists of 25 spacious, very comfortable detached chalets. The chalets are built with a mix of natural materials, such as wood and stone. The park is car-free and has a very convenient location. It is just above the village center of Vallandry and is located directly on the blue slopes of the and enormous Les Arcs ski area (200 kilometers of slopes). So you can get on the road early in the morning as soon as possible to explore the versatile ski area!

From the chalets you mostly have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Tarentaise valley and on the slopes of Les Coches (ski area La Plagne), which are on the other side of the mountain. If you look closely, you can even see the famous Mont Blanc. From the Chalets de Bellecôte you can easily get to the center of Vallandry, you can go via the slopes or by road (about 400 meters).

Because Vallandry has many traditional Sayoyard buildings and wooden chalets, it still exudes a real village atmosphere. The village has all facilities for a successful winter sport. You will find a ski school, ski rental, childcare, supermarket, stores with local specialties, a bakery, restaurants and cozy après-ski. The park itself has a hotel with restaurant and terrace, where you can end the day with a nice snack and drink.

Chalet Étoile de Neige is located on the upper part of the park, making it possible to ski pretty much to the front door (last bit is not a slope). In the morning you walk along the path past a few other chalets to get to the slopes. Then you take the short red "Morey" slope to the center, or choose to take the blue "Liaison Grizzly" which leads to the "Grizzly 68" chairlift. This way you can avoid the crowds at the elevator in the center.

The chalets are not accessible by car, but your luggage will be brought to the chalet by quad. There is a public parking lot at the beginning of the chalet park where you can park your car. It is also possible to park (for a fee) in the parking garage of the hotel (based on availability, not to reserve in advance). All chalets have a free Wi-Fi internet connection.

Layout

Entrance into hall with separate toilet. Cozy living room with comfortable seating area, satellite TV, fireplace and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen with hotplates, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher. From the living room access to the balcony. Ski storage room with shoe dryer next to the front door.

From the living room you reach the first floor. Here you will find three spacious bedrooms with two single beds each. Two bathrooms with sink, one with bath and one with shower. There is also a separate toilet on this floor. Above the living room there is a mezzanine with two single beds.

Chalet Étoile de Neige is equipped with two stair gates; one at the top of the stairs leading to the first floor and one at the bottom of the stairs leading to the mezzanine.
