Wintersport Valloire

In the French Savoie the authentic mountain village Valloire is located. Together with the village Valmeinier it forms the ski area Valloire/Valmeinier. This area, covering 160 km of pistes, is very suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers, but it also offers great possibilities for advanced skiers. View chalets and apartments in Valloire

Valloire is situated at the foot of the well-known mountain Galibier. It is a authentic village and it has a great atmosphere, offering all required facilities. In the village amenities like shops, ski schools, day care, ice ranks and several wellness- and fitness facilities are available. There is no vivid après-ski offered within the village, but there are several amusing bars and restaurants where the best French specialties are served. From the village there are also several ski lifts departing into the ski area.

There are also several winter sport activities offered for those who do not ski or snowboard in Valloire and its surroundings. There is for instance a cross-country trail, covering around 40 km of piste and about 25 km of hiking paths in the area. Furthermore, Valloire offers a toboggan run and it is possible to make dogsledding tours.
