If you want to go skiing in December, it's wise to choose a high-altitude ski resort, especially if there is also a glacier. The chance of good snow in December is, of course, best if you're high up in the mountains.
Do you want to go to Austria in December? Then it's best to choose a ski resort like Zell am See-Kaprun with the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. Sölden is also a great option, being high and having two glaciers, the Rettenbach and the Tiefenbach. Obertauern is very snow-sure as well, with the village situated at 1,740 meters, making it the highest area in Salzburgerland. Prefer to go to France? Choose a village like Val Thorens or Les Menuires in Les Trois Vallées. Paradiski La Plagne - Les Arcs is also very snow-sure, as are Tignes and Flaine. In Switzerland, you can ski excellently in December on the high-altitude slopes of Flims-Laax-Falera or on the slopes of the Matterhorn in Zermatt.
